Show Contest Winner Home From Washington Trip Earlene Warburton and Mrs. Myrtle Lambert, of Union High School, returned to Roosevelt Saturday Sat-urday evening from their Betty Crocker trip. Earlene having been chosen by the research foundation to represent the State of Utah, won for herself and advisor. Mrs. Lambert, an all-expense paid trip to Washington, D. C, Williamsburg, Williams-burg, Va. and Philadelphia. They traveled by airplane, stopped stop-ped at the highest class hotels and ate sumptuous meals at the outstanding places, were entertained enter-tained by oper star Miss Tobias and movie celebrities Eddie Fisher Fish-er and John Daly and heard such speakers as the governor of Pennsylvania; Pen-nsylvania; Mr. Bell, president of General Mills, Inc., and Ivy Baker Priest. Besides the ' trip, Earlene received re-ceived a $1500 scholarship; a fountain pen; a white orchid; a $25 dress; $50 spending money; a booklet with all the girls' essays in it and her picture etched .on the cover; a pack of pictures of all 48 girls (individual) taken in colonial costume, and a Betty Crocker picture cook book.
