Show Mrs. Elsie Bird Primary Children Visited By Santa The Primary held its Christmas Christ-mas party Dec. 24. The children were all presented with a small gift from Mr. Murdock, of He-ber, He-ber, and Santa Claus visited the party and gave each each child a bag of candy and nuts and an orange. VISIT AT HOME Mr. and Mrs. Julius Zirker j and daughters, Ardis and Caro-lee, Caro-lee, and Lorna Cobia. of Moses Lake, Washington; Shirley Zirk-er, Zirk-er, of Heber; Marilyn Zirker, of Provo; and Mr. and Mrs. Clyde DeGraff, of Heber, visited vis-ited over the Christmas holidays at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Zirker. GO CAROL SINGING The MIA, under the direction direc-tion of Supt. Charlie Bird and Pres. Lois Terpening, went carol car-ol singing Tuesday, ending up at the home of Mr. and Mrs. R. S. Lusty, where everyone was served cake and hot chocolate. Mr. and Mrs. Clair Duncan and children, of Neola. spent Tuesday visiting Mrs. Duncan'? parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Bird. Mr. and Mrs. Leland Hair and son. LaMar, of Salt Lake City, visited recently at the home of their daughter and son-in-law, 1 Mr. and Mrs. Loryn Ross. They ': also visited Mr. and Mrs. Ivo j Johnson in Roosevelt. j Mr. and Mrs. Legrand Gilbert, Mrs. Rose Gilbert and son, Lar- l ry, were dinner guests at the I home of Mr. and Mrs. Austin Beal on Christmas. Leland Bird and Delmar Ross, of San Diego, California, arrived JShristmas night to spend a few days with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Bird and Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Ross. They returned Sunday. Mrs. Cynthia Larsen is spending spend-ing the Christmas holidays with Mrs. Chastia Nielson in Bridge-land. Bridge-land. Marion Ross drove the basketball basket-ball team to Midway and Coalville Coal-ville for games last week. Mr. and Mrs. Marvin G. Shields spent Christmas at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wanless Shields in Bridgeland. FIRESIDE CHAT Fireside Chat was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas I M. Gilbert this week, under the direction of Miss Mildred Bird. Refreshments were served to thirty guests. |
