Show Both Republicans . . Two New Commissioners Take Office On January Fifth The two Duchesne County commissioners to take their oath of office at 12 noon on January 5, are two of the 58 county commissioners com-missioners who were elected on November 4 in the 29 Utai counties. Of this number. 31 are new commissioners, and 27 are re-elected ones who will take the oath of office. Floyd E. Lamb, Republican, of Roosevelt, four-year commissioner-elect, and Clinton J. Mickelson, Mick-elson, Republican, of Duchesne, two - year commissioner -elect, will take their oath of office at , the Duchesne County Court house on January 5. Retiring commissioners are Marvin R. Michie, Democrat, of Tabiona, who has served four years on the commission, the past two years as chairman; and Ray Brown, Democrat, of Roos- evelt, who has served as a board member for the past two years. Floyd Case, Democrat, of Mt. Emmons, is hold-over member of the board who has two more years of a four-year term to fill. After the Jan. 5 meeting, the name of the new chairman of the Duchesne County Commissioners Commis-sioners will be announced. |
