Show Alc Bill Norman, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Norman, arrived home Dec. 23 to spend Christmas Christ-mas with his parents for the first time since 1946. He left Tuesday to return to his base at Lowry Field, Denver, Colo. Mr. and Mrs. Kent Wheelwright, Wheel-wright, nee Bonnie White, of Petaluma, Calif, were weekend guests of Mrs. Melba Turner at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Richman. Mr. and Mrs. Cal Wilkins and infant son, of Salt Lake Citv, enjoyed the Christmas holiday with his parents, Mr. and Mrs Paul Wilkins. Mrs. Harold Dillman left this week for Maryland to visit with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Wardle. Mr. and Mrs. Anthon Chris-tensen Chris-tensen and son, Douglas, spent last weekend in Springville with relatives. Accompanying them home was Mrs. Christen-sen's Christen-sen's niece, Beverley Bunker, of Delta, who will visit here a few days. Mr. and Mrs. Kay Edrington and baby enjoyed the holidays with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ruel Edrington. Mr. and Mrs. R. S. Jordan will accompany their daughter, Joyce, to California Saturday. The Jordans plan to spend the winter there while Joyce continues con-tinues her studies at Pomona College. New baby daughter and mother. moth-er. Mrs. Arvin Bellon. arrived home from the hospital last Saturday. The little Miss weighed 8 lbs. at birth, and her parents are contemplating the name "Becky" for her. She wis born Dec. 22. Congratulations are also in order for the Lewis Taylors they are the proud Barents of a new baby son, born Dec. 24, and weighing 6 lbs. 14 oz. He answers an-swers to "Gregg." Mother and son arrived home from the hospital hos-pital Sunday. Lt. (Dr.) Don Johnson will leave this week for Cheboygan. Michigan, where he is serving as a dentist in the U. S. Coastguard. Coast-guard. He has been visiting with his family nearly two weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Nelson and family, of Bingham, have been spending part of the holidays holi-days at the home of her mother, Mrs. Homer P. Edwards. Nancy Rockwood left last Sunday to visit with Maurine Ivory in Springville during the holidays. Ogden visitors last weekend were Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Peterson Pet-erson and family. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Holmes and family are back in Fort Duchesne Du-chesne to make their home, after af-ter residing for the past 2V years in Wapato, Washington. Steve Bellon's friends are1 happy to see him home for the holidays after being confined to the Veteran's Hospital for the past several weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Wardle have received word that their son-in-law, Pvt. Robert Madsen, is at Camp Kilmer in New Brunswick, New Jersey, waiting to be shipped overseas. His wife. Dorothy, will remain with her parents during his absence. He had formerly been stationed at Fort Ord, California, and has been in service since June 16. Mrs. George Pulos left Tuesday Tues-day for Meeker. Colorado, to be with her daughter, Mrs. Norval Massey. She accompanied Mr. Massey, who came for her. Mr. and Mrs. Duane Hacking, of Salt Lake City, are the proud parents of a baby boy born Dec. 23. Congratulations to the happy hap-py couple, who are former Roosevelt Roos-evelt residents. Arriving Sunday to visit with the Howard Harrisons were Mrs. Harrison's sister and brother-in- law, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Hartman, and two sons, of den. Leaving last weekend for Pas. adena, California, were Dr. and Mrs. Paul Stringham and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Montgamery, who planned to see the Rose Bowl game. Mrs. Naomi Benson left Mon. ' day to also be a witness at the Rose Bowl game in Pasadena She will also visit in San Frani cisco. Miss Esther Wogec left Satur-day Satur-day to visit with relatives and friends in Ogden, planning t0 return home Monday. |
