Show "News Bits About Yesler-Years" 5 Years Ago Frank J. Chamberlin, White-rocks, White-rocks, was elected worshipful master of Basin Lodge No. 20, F. & A. M., Monday evening, to start the new Masonic year for the local body. Advanced from the office of senior warden, Mr. Chamberlin replaces Elmer Snow, Jensen, as worshipful master. Seaman First Class Don H. Rudy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Czar Rudy, of Roosevelt, left San Diego, Di-ego, December 2, aboard the USS Currituck, bound for the Antarctic with the Byrd Polar expedition. The Currituck was among the first contingent of ships to depart for the South Pole. Under the direction of Levi J. Grant Fredrickson, son of Mr. and Mrs. G. F. Fredrickson, who leaves next week to fulfill a mission for the L D S Church in the Spanish-American Mission, with headquarters in Texas, will be honored at a farewell social to be given in the ward hall this evening.
