Show Stella Underwood Youngster Gets Arms In Wringer An almost tragedy occurred last week when Linda Giggey, small daughter of Mr.- and Mrs. Elmer Giggey, accidently got her two hands and arms caught in a wringer while her mother was outside hanging up clothes. The child was rushed to Roosevelt Roos-evelt for medical care. It was revealed re-vealed that her arms were badly crushed, but no bones were broken. She returned to her home following treatment. Mr. and Mrs. Manfred Arnold and sons, Roy and Arthur, of Provo, were week end guests at the home of Mr. Arnold's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Arnold. Marion Hackford, son of Mr. and Mrs. Pete Hackford, went to Salt Lake Monday to take his examination for induction in the Army. Elmer Giggey and Bud Mar-key Mar-key returned Friday from an elk hunt. Mr. Giggey was successful suc-cessful in bagging his elk. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Semken celebrated their 38th wedding anniversary on November 26. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Semken have received word from their daughter, Mrs. Gladis Nebeker, of Provo, that she had been in a hospital for a week, but was able to be at home again now. |
