Show Tax Laws Aired By Accountant At EUwanis Meet William B. Feinberg, of Herman Her-man and Feinberg, accountant and auditing firm of Salt Lake City and Vernal, discussed new income tax laws and the many problems involved before the local Kiwanis club last night at the Frontier Grill. Mr. Feinberg talked on four major divisions of taxation: Increase, In-crease, in tax rates; partnerships and corporations; farmers and ranchers; and capital gains and losses. Following his remarks, he answered a multitude of questions. Ted Harmston and Jack Zimmerman were in charge of the program. ' Also heard at the meeting was a brief discussion of the Echo Park project by Horace L. All-red. All-red. He encouraged the club to draft a resolution and send it to Secretary of Interior Chapman Chap-man urging him to submit the reports and recommendations to the Bureau of the Budget for eventual consideration by Congress. Con-gress. This will be done by the club. The membership named Presley Pres-ley Timothy, Parley Rawlings and Elmer Eldredge as a committee com-mittee to plan the appearance of Santa Claus in Roosevelt On December De-cember 8. President-elect Floyd Peterson Peter-son announced the 1952 committees commit-tees and the annual training conference for Roosevelt and Vernal to be held at the Hotel Vernal next Sunday at 1 p. m. Last year it was held here. |
