Show Mr. and Mrs. Alva Sntfw and Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Creech were planning to leave today for Los Angeles to attend the showing show-ing of the new 1952 Mercury. Miss Janet Kelsey, student at the B Y U, pleasantly surprised i her family when she arrived home last Thursday in time to attend the wedding reception of her sister. Beryl Johnstun. Mr. and Mrs. Val Timothy visited in Idaho Falls last week end. Miss Leilah Sorensen, of Pro-vo, Pro-vo, spent the week end with her aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Presley Timothy. Mr. and Mrs. David Watkins and family attended a celebra-' tion in Brigham City, November 24, honoring- Mr. Watkins' parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph H. Watkins, who were celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary. He is 91 years old, and she is 90. ! A dinner in their honor feted 58, including their children and grandchildren. Dr. J. P. Alsberg, of Fort Duchesne, left by plane this week to do special detail work in Phoenix. Arizona. j Mrs. Elmer Eldredge and Mrs. Marvell Neilson drove to Salt Lake City Monday. They were joined Tuesday by Mrs. Johnnie Cook, Mrs. Steve Bellon and Mrs. Clem Labrum. Marden Broadbent, who is employed em-ployed with the Extension Service Ser-vice at Logan, was a Roosevelt visitor Monday and a houseguest of Mr. and Mrs. Alva Snow.
