Show ffeca Mrs. Melba Eksund Fireside Held Monday Night A fireside Chat was held Monday evening in the Relief Society room for the Mia-Maids. Guest speaker was Mrs. Dorothy Dor-othy Jensen. Light refreshments refresh-ments were served to those attending. at-tending. The MIA held a Thanksgiving Thanksgiv-ing dance Tuesday night after MIA. Refreshments were sold and everyone had a good time. The money will go towards buying buy-ing music for the new orchestra. Mrs. Erma Hutcheons and family and Mrs. Ada Hutcheons and boys, of Salt Lake, spent Thanksgiving with relatives and friends here. Mr. and Mrs. Ron Wiscombe and family, of Bountiful, spent a few days last week with Mrs. Wiscombe's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Rhoades. Miss Jennett Smithson. daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Nephi Smithson, returned Wednesday from Ogden, where she nas been going to school. She will finisn the school year here. Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Allred and family spent last Sunday in Lapoint with their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Winn. Miss Afton Smithson spent Thanksgiving- with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nephi Smithson. Miss Smithson teaches school at Altamont. Mr. and Mrs. Claire Mills, of Orem, spent Thanksgiving with Mr. and Mrs. Loren Mills. Rawlin Spencer spent the week end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dallis Spencer. Ken Oberhansley recently purchased a new Packard. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Yack and family, of Wyoming, spent a few days here visiting with friends and relatives. ! Mr. and Mrs. Richard Eksund, of Vernal, spent Sunday in Ne-ola Ne-ola with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Rhoades left Monday to spend the winter in Phoenix, Arizona. Ron Eksund made a business trip to Salt Lake Monday. |
