Show Montwel-ftlonarch Mrs.E. Brown The costume ball sponsored Monday evening by the boy scouts was well attended. Sandra San-dra Powell won first price in the girl s division, with her Bo-Peep Bo-Peep costume; while A. D. Shaw PiratS' t00k first Prize for the boys Phylis and Tal Wardle furnished the music. Chili and cider and doughnuts were sold during the evening. Mrs. Laura Roberts, of Orem, visited one day this week with her children, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Roberts and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Blanchard. Mrs. Clifford Woodward has returned from the hospital with her new daughter. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Blanchard came Saturday to get their little lit-tle son, who has been staying with relatives here while his parents vacationed on the west coast. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Smith, of Salt Lake, visited over the weekend with relatives. Nila Hamblin came from Salt Lake to visit relatives. She is assisting at the Cliff Woodward home while Mrs. Woodward is recuperating. j Mrs. Hannah Parry's children were home for pheasant season: Mr. and Mrs. John Parrv. Mr. and Mrs. Ike Parry and Joe Parry. Ttfrs. Vick Brown attended the ! PTA meeting Thursday evening ' at Roosevelt. Her son, Ronald, performed in a play presented as part of the program. The Lloyd Crows, of Price, visited relatives and friends here Sunday. Maggie Labrum and Gail Lor-anger Lor-anger visited Mr. and Mrs. Newt Miller, Monday evening. Mr. and Mrs. George Hunt have moved back here from Roosevelt. Mrs. Bea Crow visited Friday Fri-day with her daughter, Evelyn Loranger. Mr. and Mrs. Dave Gains visited vis-ited one day during the week with Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Pearson. Pear-son. Mr. and Mrs. Acel Miller, of Salt Lake, came out to attend funeral services at Vernal for Mrs. Miller's grandmother. While in the Basin they were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Newt Miller. |
