Show Tilt. Emmons Deane Case Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Lambert re turned, during the week from a trip to Bryce and Zion canyons and Southern California. At Santa Barbara they were guests of Johnny's brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Boh-nett. Boh-nett. Mr. and Mrs. William J. Neal, of Keddie, Calif., visited three days last week with Mrs. Neal's mother, Mrs. Mary A. Caso. Thursday the three were dinner din-ner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Les-lie Pearson, at Boneta. Arthur Saddler and daughter, Mrs. Grant Hansen, spent the latter part of the week in Logan, Lo-gan, where they attended funeral fun-eral services for Mr. Saddler's mother, Mrs. Harriet Saddler. A baby boy was born Wednesday, Wednes-day, Nov. 2, to Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Hansen, Jr. Mr. and Mrs. Morris Monson and children went to Provo Thursday for a 2-day visit with Mr. and Mrs. Alma Richman and Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Goodrich. Good-rich. Recent - guests at the home of Mrs. Mary C. Snyder were Mrs. ' Brig Sevenson, of Salt Lake,- Mrs. Dave Anderson, of Prie, and Mrs. George Fisher, of Mt. Emmons. The three are Mrs. Snyder's sisters-in-law. The second lesson in the extension' ex-tension' course for local school teachers was presented Thursday Thurs-day evening at the high school building, by Professor Faust of the University of Utah. About 25 teachers from Mt. Emmons, Altonah, Bluebell, Mtn. Home, and Talmage are taking this course in comparative education. educa-tion. Garth. Sargent arrived Saturday Satur-day to get his wife, who had been here a week with her mother, mo-ther, Mrs. J. Edgar Holder. Mr. Holder accompanied Garth from Salt Lake after two weeks of medical treatment. The Sargents left Monday morning for their home in Hoytsville. Family members staged a surprise sur-prise party, Saturday evening, hqnoring Mrs. Ina Mecham's birthday. Present were Mr. and Mrs. Lee Ottosen, of Tabiona; I Mr. and Mrs. Leon Burton, of Talmage, and the following from Mt. Emmons: Mr. and Mrs. Del-mar Del-mar Mecham, Mr. and Mrs. Bovee Mecham, Jean Mecham, and the guest of honor. Mr. and Mrs. S. K. Daniels, former residents of Mt. Emmons, Em-mons, spent Friday and Saturday Satur-day with Mr. and Mrs. Chester Hartman. Mr. Daniels teaches in one of the Salt Lake schools. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Turner, of Price, were here during the pheasant season, the guests of their cousin's, Mr. and Mrs. Waldo Wal-do Hansen. Pheasant hunters visiting at the Earl Case home were Mr. and Mrs. Fred Case, of Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Ed Mitchell and Lee Mitchell, of Bountiful, and Mrs. Stella Webb, of Ogden. Louis Hansen and sons, Lee and Kenneth, of Salt Lake City, were weekend guests of Mr. Hansen's son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Waldo Hansen. Han-sen. Guests of Mr. and Mrs. Lindon Hansen over the pheasant season sea-son were their brother-in-law, Leo Peterson, of Salt Lake City, and his three sons, Dick, Donald and Gary. Mrs. -Mary A. Case left Saturday Sat-urday for Vernal to spend a week with her son, Ross, and family. Mrs. Bovee Mecham entertained enter-tained at a birthday party for her little daughter, Julia, who was four years old Monday, October 31. Children present to participate in the fun' were Glen-na Glen-na and Don Iorg, Kay and Dar-lene Dar-lene Mecham, Byron and Alan Ward, and Julia and Teddy Mecham. |
