Show County Farmers To Choose Federal Administrators During the coming week, farmers in Duchesne county will be exercising their right and privilege to choose the men to be responsible for the local administration ad-ministration of many federal farm programs in 1950. Farmers in' each agricultural community will elect a committee commit-tee of three farmers plus two alternates. al-ternates. At the same time a farmer delegate to the county convention will be chosen who, with delegates from other communities, com-munities, will elect a three-man county committee. Eligible voters owners, operators, op-erators, tenants, or sharecroo-pers sharecroo-pers on farms participating in programs administered during 1949A through the county and community Production and Marketing Mar-keting Administration committees commit-tees will gather in community election meetings. Interesting and informative programs have been planned by the present county and community cornmit-teeemen cornmit-teeemen and members of the county office staff. Frank Nelson of the State PMA committee, will attend all meetings. Scheduled first is a meeting at Tabiona LDS church, November Nov-ember 18 at 10 a.m. Meetings next week all to be held in the local LDS churca of the respective communities, with the exception of Roosevelt are as follows: Duchesne, Nov. 18, 2 p. m.; Bluebell. Nov. 21, 10 a.m.; Mt. Home, Nov. 21, 2 p.m.; Altonah, Nov. 21, 7 p. m.; Bridgeland, Nov. 22, 10 a. m.; Myton, Nov. 22, 2 p. m.; Roosevelt (at PMA. . office), Nov. 22, 7 p. m.; and Montwel, Nov. 23;, 10 a. m. The county convention will be held at the PMA office in Roosevelt, Nov. 23, at 2 p. m. |
