Show Ballard Ellen Bracken Mr. and Mrs. Frank McClure returned recently from a tnp to South -Dakota. I Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Womack. of Independence, have received announcement of the arrival of a son born to Mr and Mrs. Reed Birchell, of Vernal. Mrs. Bir-chell Bir-chell is their daughter. Alterra Seminary students joined with Roosevelt Seminary students for a picture show and dance Friday in the Roosevelt stake house. Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Warthen have moved from the ward to their home recently purchased in Roosevelt. They had resided in Ballard since the opening of the reservation. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Hatch, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Hatch and Mrs. Ramona Mecham, of Val-lejo, Val-lejo, Calif., spent last Sunday at Jensen. Mrs. Mecham and her family plan to stay 'with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Hatch, until February, when she will join her husband, stationed sta-tioned in Japan. Word has been received from I Max Todd, who said that as his I ship neared its destination, it was struck by the tail-end of a typhoon. New walks have been laid between buildings at Alterra high, and the road where the buses stop is being improved. |
