Show Altonah Mrs. Elhel Beebe The Altonah Mutual held its opening social Tuesday night in the Ward hall. Dancing and watermelons wa-termelons were enjoyed by those attending. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Reay took their son, Bobbie, back to Salt Lake City Tuesday for medical attention. Nephi Chatwin, of Tabiona, spent a few days at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Albert Clark. John Barnes, of Jackson Hole, Wyoming, visited his uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Olson a few days last week. Word has been received that Ed Davis is in the L D S hospital in Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Swasey, Mrs. Janet Swasey and Blanche Swasey, of Boncta, visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. E, Clark Friday evening with Mr. and Mrs. George Carroll. Among the boys from Altonah to register for Selective Service at Duchesne were Leon Carroll, Boyd Young, Max Clark and Homer Weeks. George Carroll and Wm. Clark made a trip to Salt Lake and Provo, Tuesday. They returned the same day with a load of fruit. Mr. and Mrs. Dee Burrow, Mr. and Mrs. John Saris and Mrs. Jane Gyggi, of Salt Lake, spent the weekend at the homes of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. E. Clark and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Morris. |
