Show Whiterocks Delia Francis James Anderson, Scout field executive, visited the pupils of the 3rd and 6th grades Wednesday Wednes-day afternoon. Nineteen school Cub Scouts attended their first meeting of the current year, Thursday evening. eve-ning. New cubs were initiated, followed by games, a short hike and refreshments. A discussion on nature appreciation, which will continue for several months, was begun. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Robb and Mrs. Nora Christensen spent Monday in Vernal. Mrs. Phyllis Obcrhansley and children were in Roosevelt Saturday. Sa-turday. Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Marimon spent the weekend at Mt. Pleasant Pleas-ant visiting with Bobby Lee and Nancy. Bobby Lee was chosen vice president of the Student Council. Jo Anne Griffin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Griffin, has been elected secretary of the sophmore class at Wasatch Academy. Acad-emy. Mr. and Mrs. George Walkup and two daughters, Mrs. Virgil Robb and Georgic and son. Gene, spent several days in Salt Lake last week. Mi, and Mrs. Marion Christensen Christen-sen and Clarence Christensen were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Chrisfrcnsen, of Roosevelt, Roos-evelt, last Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Chambcr-lin Chambcr-lin spent Satuiday and Sunday of last week at Greens Lake. Sacrament meeting will be held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jens Christensen Sunday, Sept. 26th. Mr. and Mrs. Axel Birch, of Roosevelt, visited Mr. and Mrs. Frank Chambcrlin last week. The people of Farm Creek were very sorry to learn of the death of Mrs.-John Horrocks, and extend their sympathy to her family. Mr. Arbin Wilkerson delivered deliver-ed a Plymouth sedan to Maien-us Maien-us Christensen, Sunday. |
