Mr. and Mrs. Kilmer Roundy and baby son, of Provo. visited during the week with Mr. and Mrs. Leslie J. Orr. Mrs. Kilmer, the former Phyllis Powell, is a niece of Mrs. Orr. Mr. and Mrs. Alvorn Thompson Thomp-son and daughters, Alvornia and Ellie, and son, Milne, of Layton, .called on friends here while en-route en-route home from a fishing trip. 'Mrs. Thompson taught home cc at the high school last winter. Fred Thacker, Draper, has been visiting at the home of his brother, Wesley. He accompanied the Thompsons on their fishing trip. Alma Carlile and Mr. and Mrs. John Carlile, of Woodland were guests during the week of Mr. and'Mrs. Gordon Case. The group made a trip to Salt Lake where Gordon purchased materials for his new house. Mr. and Mrs. John Carlile are moving to Mt. Emmons ior the winter. Mr. Carlile will teach social science at the high school. A girl's trio from Boneta furnished fur-nished vocal selections at Sacrament Sac-rament meeting Sunday. Members Mem-bers of the trio were Lorna Cook, Venna Oman and Kathleen Pearson, Pear-son, accompanied by .Mrs. Leslie N. Pearson. Other visitors . from Boneta were Mr. Pearson, Arline Johansen, Dorothy Brotherson and Margery Pearson. Mrs. Ruth B. Madsen was a guest at the Evan Bennion home. Sunday. She attended church to witness the christening of her great-granddaughter, the infant of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Crosby. Also christened at the meeting was the new son of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Dastrup. L D S baptismal services were held Saturday for Grant Drol-linger Drol-linger and Billy Wall. Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Miles and daughter, of California, are guests of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar H. Miles. Miss Betty Holder has returned return-ed from a week's visit in Hoyts-ville Hoyts-ville with her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Garth Sargent. Sar-gent. Mrs. Kelly Sprouse and baby, of Roosevelt, are spending a week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Case. Devon Atwood, of Midvale, Is visiting Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Wall. The Moon Lake Wildlife Association Asso-ciation held a most interesting meeting Thursday evening at the ward hall. A picture prepared by the Forest Service, was shown and a talk on wildlife conservation conserva-tion was given by Cliff Fretwell, of Roosevelt. Both features were very well received, according to the association president, Leslie N. Pearson. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Case, SaE Lake City, are spending their vacation va-cation with Fred's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Case. Mrs, Karl Allen and son', of Vernal, spent the past week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leslie J. Orr. Adrian and Anthon Jones, Ma-lad, Ma-lad, Idaho, are spending a month with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. L. W. Rust. |
