Show Pioneers Asked To Register For Utah Centennial All living r '.'native" pioneers, those born in the state before May 10, 1869, will be honored by the Utah Centennial commission commis-sion with handsomely engraved Certificates of Honor. In order to do this it is necessary for the commission to obtain their names and addresses, and data on the place and date of their birth. All living pioneers are asked to fill out the following blank and mail it immediately so they may receive the certificate which i will make a valuable keepsake I for themselves or their descendants. descen-dants. If the pioneers cannot fill j out the blanks, due tcr age or j disability, it is proper for mem-1 bers of their families to do so. Family members should see that a certified blank is sent in for their living pioneers. 1 The blanks arc to be certified by - family members or others who can attest to the truth of the information on the blank. This paper and others throughout through-out the state are cooperating in I an attempt to reach all pioneers by printing this blank. |
