Thursday evening Mr, and Mrs. Marriner McMullin took a truck load of people to Ballard to attend the show, "Where the Saints Have Trod." Mr. and JtfrsV Albe"t Harris and family made a trip' to Frpvo to visit the Harold Harrises who have a new baby. - Avalon Ward Conference was held May 23. 'President Lsland M. Angus and Clerk Paul Murphy, Mur-phy, of the Roosevelt stake, were visitors. Clyde Johnson, of the Alterra high school faculty, comes to Avalon each Tuesday at 9 a. m. and Thursday at 2 p. m. to teach Band. All who are interested, especially high school students, are asked to participate. 1 Mr. and Mrs. M. F. McMullin were dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Wall, Jr. on Sunday. I Miss Colleen Robison spent jthe weekend at Eallard, helping her grandmother. , Avalon M.I.A. held a weiner and marshmallow roast, Tuesday evening, the closing event of the the M.I.A. sponsored a dance.
