Show SOCIETY BRIDGE BREAKFAST Adding interest to this week's social activity was the delightful bridge breakfast at which Mrs. Ray S. Jordan entertained friends at her residence Tuesday morning. Covers were laid for Mrs. Zella Clark and Mrs. Carroll Car-roll Robbins, of Salt Lake City, Mrs. Les Mullins, Mrs. Wm, H. Ruppel, Mrs. Wayne Malin, Mrs. Sam Weiss, Mrs. Louis Corbridgc and Mrs. Pearl Moysh. THOUGHT AND THIMBLE Lovely in all details was the delightful luncheon at which Mrs. Olin Perryman entertained members of the Thought and Thimble club at her home Friday Fri-day evening. A delicious salad course luncheon lunch-eon was served at one table, beautifully decorated with a centerpiece of talisman roses. Cleverly portraying the club theme, small thimbles with a timely thought attached marked places for Mrs. Farrell Wilkins, Mrs. Ted Jensen, Mrs. Jack Redmond, Red-mond, Mrs. Bert Burgess. Mrs. Joe Snyder, Mrs. Harold Dillman and Mrs. Art Allen. FRIDAY BRIDGE Bouquets of spring flowers formed the decorations when I Mrs. John R. Bourne entertained I members and guests of the Fri-J day Bridge club at her home on May 23. A delicious dessert luncheon was served at small tables at which places were marked for Mrs. Axel Birch, Mrs. Howard Harison, Mrs. Glen Wyler, Mrs. Bob Huish, Mrs. J. V. McLea, Mrs. Jay Ginn, Mrs. Cliff Fret-well, Fret-well, Mrs. Eugene Harmston, Mrs. Wm. H. Ruppel, Mrs, Vean Bair, Mrs. Les- Mullins. Mrs. Lynn Orser, Mrs. R. S. Jordan, Mrs. Wayne Malin, Mrs. Fred Ferron and Mrs. Sam Weiss. Following luncheon four tables of bridge were at play during the evening. PARTY HONORS VISITOR Another affair of interest on this week's social agenda was the temptingly arranged lunch- eon 'Mpnday evening at the home of Mrs. J. J. Cook, in honor of Mrs. Margaret Colton Gould, who is visiting friends and relatives rela-tives in this vicinity. O, Colton, before returning to. her home in Burbank, Calif. - i BRIDGETTE Mrs. Marvell Nielson entertained enter-tained the Bridgette club at a delightful luncheon at the Roosevelt Roose-velt hotel on Friday evening. LADIES FISH AND GAME A Ladies' Fish and Game club party was held Monday evening in the Municipal park, under the direction of Mrs. Art Allen and Mrs. Clair Larsen. Baseball and horseshoes formed the entertainment entertain-ment until dusk, when the group gathered in front of the fireplace fire-place to enjoy musical numbers by Mrs. Ray Scholcs and Miss Marilyn Lambert. Business matters were taken up and new officers acknowledged. acknow-ledged. A hot lunch was served to approximately 30 people. SHOWER HONORS MRS. An "Old Country" theme was followed in the dining room, where clever Scottish refresh-; ments were served to approxi-i mately 60 guests. Many lovely', gifts were received by the bride. . FAMILY REUNION The family of Mr. and Mrs. Siras Larsen held a reunion last' Monday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Larsen. Children and grandchildren present were: Mr. and Mrs. B. A. March and family, Roosevelt; Mr. and Mrs. Bud Markey and familyt San Diego, California; Mr, and Mrs. ' Glenn Allred and family, Gush-j er; Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Larsen and family, Roosevelt; and Mr. 1 and Mrs. George Searles, parents par-ents of Mrs. Siras Larsen. Photographers from Sunnie Studio were present to take group pictures and recordings were made by those present. ENGAGEMENT ANNOUNCED Mr. and Mrs. Alden White announce an-nounce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Lois VeLoy, to Karl C. Betts, son of Mr. and Mrs. .Ernest Betts. The marriage will be solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on June 11. ANNOUNCES ENGAGEMENT Announcement is made this week of the engagement and forthcoming marriage of Iris Lou McConkie, daughter of Mrs. Charles Alexander, of Mountain Home, to Guy Lindsay, son of Mr. and Mrs. Geddes Lindsay, of Mountain Home. The wedding will take place on June 7, at the Alexander residence. NEIGHBORHOOD SEWING CLUB Dessert luncheon was featured when Mrs. Reuben Larsen ente-tained ente-tained the Neighborhood Sewing club at the Roosevelt hotel on Wednesday evening. Her guest list included Mrs. Reva Owen. Mrs. Grant Killian, Mrs. Edward Jensen, Mrs. Farrell Wilkins, Mrs. Clair Larsen, Mrs. Jack Zimmerman, Mrs. Richard Adams, Ad-ams, Mrs. Darrell Walker, Mrs. Dan Allen, Mrs. Marvin Oldroyd and Mr. Reuben Larsen.
