Show Action Aplenty Promised At F & G Club Canyon Riot An exceptional program based on weeks of planning will be offered of-fered by the Roosevelt Wildlife Conservation Club and the Ladies' Fish and Game club at the annual sportsmen's riot, to be held at Big Park in Uinta Canyon, Can-yon, May 31 and June 1. Officers of the Wildlife conservation groups have indicated" that the jollification has been planned as a family outing, and have extended ex-tended a general invitation to all Basin communities. The Riot will start off Satur-I Satur-I day night at 8 p. m., with a program pro-gram by the Ladies' Fish and Game Club. It will last until 10 p. m., and stands fair to being the outstanding entertainment feature of the outing. It has been developed entirely by the members mem-bers of the Ladies' conservation organization. The kiddies will jump into the limelight by opening the Sunday's Sun-day's activities. Carded as three hours of kiddies' sports, a wide field of entries is expected to participate, Horseshoe pitching contests will start at 10 a. m., followed by the proposed league baseball game between Neola and Myton. With the Wildlife Conservation club furnishing the coffee or milk, activities will be suspend ed between 12 noon and 2 p. m, for luncheon. . The trapshoot, Sunday's major ma-jor feature, will get. underway at 2 p. m. with a local team, and teams from Price and Vernal Ver-nal competing. Individual ' traps will be shot following the teams events, and prizes will be given the high point shotgun artist. A Softball game between the high school girls and the Ladies' Fish and Game has also been scheduled sched-uled for 2 p. m. |
