Show Jeola Ruth B. Jensen' Mrs. Joe Yack and Edward Yack went to Heber, Saturday night to meet Joe Yack. From there they will go to California for a load of bees. The 79th birthday of John Horrocks was fittingly celebrated celebrat-ed Wednesday, May 21st at his home in Hay den. Those who enjoyed en-joyed the alternoon were: Mr. i and Mrs. Royal Horrocks and family, Mr. and Mrs. Perry Bow- i en, Mr. and Mrs. Theron Horrocks, Hor-rocks, Mr. and Mrs. Lavell Horrocks, Hor-rocks, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Epperson Ep-person and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Thom-as Horrocks, of Heber; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Horrocks and daughter, daugh-ter, Lula Gilbert, of Arcadia; Mr. and Mrs. Joe Horrocks, of Lapoint; Mr. and Mrs. Otis Horrocks, Hor-rocks, of Bennett; Mr. and Mrs. Keith Bowen and children, Mr. and Mrs. Mark Oberhansly and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Coltharp, Vee Winn was rushed to the L.D.S. hospital in Salt Lake last Thursday. Margarite Dye received word from her son, Adair Baxter, that he was leaving May 26 for a nine month's cruise in the Pacific, with the Navy. Neighbors and friends of De-Loss De-Loss Dye surprised him with a party Saturday night. The occasion oc-casion celebrated his birthday anniversary. Mr. ana Mrs. Joe Duncan, Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Duncan and Mr. and Mrs. McNeil Duncan were dinner guests Friday evening eve-ning at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Bacon, or Roosevelt. Mrs. long Gardner has been" ill ' the past week wit an infection in her knee. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hmer, Vk'hf) have spent the past week here visiting relatives, returned home, Sunday. Myrth Davis accompanied ac-companied them for a visit. Alva Rust is seriously at this writing. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Davis vis- I ited relatives in Vernal, Friday. Mrs. Morris Woodward received re-ceived word last "Wetlnegday of the death of her mother, Arvilla Dennis, of Pueblo, Colorado. Mrs. Woodward left immediately for Colorado. The cpmrnynity extends ex-tends its sympathy to her. Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Glines had a family dinner, Sunday. Those present were; Mr. and I Mrs. Glen Davis, Mr. arid Mrs. Lyle Glines, of Vernal; and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hamer, of Ogdcn. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Rust left Monday for Clearfield, where they have employment. ' Mr. Leonald Crane, of Roosevelt, Roose-velt, was in Neola Saturday and Sunday, in connection with F. F. A, work. M.rs. Jack Leavitt and new daughter returned from the hospital, hos-pital, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Max Ilorrpcks, of Salt Lake, were weekend visitors vis-itors here. A Community Club party was held on the riyer, Saturday night. Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Ilutcheon, Mr. and Mrs. Alex Hutcheon, Mr. and Mrs. McNeil Duncan, Mr. and Mrs. Leland Peterson, Mr. and Mrs. Orvis Allred, Mr. and Mrs. Curtis BasUan, and Mr. and Mrs. We?s Bastian. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Duncan received word from their son, Clair, who is-in Sendhi, Japan, that he would be home about June 10th. Mrs. Lecta Horrocks went to Duchesne, Wednesday, on school business. Thomas Blazzard, who has been visiting at the home of Lionel Jensen, returned to St. George, Friday. Lillian Wilkerson entertained a few friends, Tuesday evening.
