The main purpose for getting these fellows to fight in Roosevelt Roose-velt is to give our boys a chance to see some of the finer points of boxing which schould help them when they go into Salt for the AAU tournament. The following boys will be matched on this same boxing card with boys from Bingham Canyon: Tom Dennis, 140 lbs., Myton; Lynn Dean, Myton, 140 lbs.; Max Horrocks, Neola, 150 lbs.; Mac Zimmerman, Roosevelt, 130 lbs.; Boyd Winn, Lapoint, 125 lbs.; Howard Allred, Roosevelt, 110 lbs. With the best professional fighters in the state and the best amateur boxers in the basin this should be one of the best boxing cards which has ever been staged in Roosevelt. . . |
