Show Two Governors Will Attend Livestock Show Two governors will join hands to welccme the 300 or more boy and girl exhibitors at the fifth annual Junior Livestock and Baby Beel Show to be held at the Union Stock Yards, South San Francisco, November 14 to 16th. Both Governor Gov-ernor James Rolph, Jr., of California Cali-fornia and Governor Fred B. Balzar of Nevada have sent word that they will take part in the colorful opening program. The details for the opening day are now in the making. There will be a formal program of speaking, dedicating and opening the show, with Governors Rolph and Balzar participating. The work of judging more than 1000 head of choice baby beef, lambs and hogs entered by the representatives of the two organizations to whom the show is restricted Future Farmers of America and 4H Boys and Girls Clubs will then begin. The opening day will mark the judging of lambs and hogs. Professor Pro-fessor Howard Hackedom of Wash ington State College will put the ribbons on the fat lambs while Professor E. H. Hughes of he University Uni-versity of California at Davis will pass on the prize-winning barrows. bar-rows. Tuesday will be devoted to judging judg-ing Herefords, Shorthorn and Ab erdeen Angus baby beef. Henry W. Vaughan, nationally livestock authority is coming to the Show to judge what is said to be the finest array of baby beef ever exhibited ex-hibited at these shows. The big day of the show will be Wednesday, when with all judging completed and the $5000 in cash and prizes awarded, all of the livestock exhibited will be auctioned auction-ed off. Art Thompson, whose reputation re-putation as the finest livestock auctioneer extends from Coat to Coast, will officiate at the sale. San Francisco bay district and Sacremento packers, w-holesalers, jobbers, retailers and, chain stores together with representatives of railroads, hotels and steamship companies will be in attendance to encourage the boy and girl exni-bitors. exni-bitors.
