Show Bryce Canyon Scout Council Names Leaders The annual meeting of Eryce Canyon Boy Scout council was held Saturday afternoon at Salina. In the absence of President L. R. Andersen cf Manti, the vice president, S M. Neilsen of MDjnt Pleasant, was hi charge, and the following new officers were elected: -President, S. M. Neilsen; vice president, R. D. Young, Richfield: ; national representative, L. R. An- dersen. W. G. Barton of Ephraim waa reelected scout executive, and a scretary will be selected by the 5 executive officers. The presidents of each of the ten L. D. S. stakes comprising the j council will constitute the finance committee, with S. M. Neilsen as J chairman. The 1933 budget was set at $850, ' and, in keeping with the national program, the council set for their goal the registration of at least 1000 boys in 1933. The present registration re-gistration is 721. The council includes ten L. D.s. stakes, from Sanpete, Sevier, Piute, Pi-ute, Wayne and Garfield counties. The main feature of Saturday's meeting was an address by Oscar A. Kirkham. assistant twelfth regional re-gional director. 1 |
