Show !YB M)S Miss Ida Merz was hostess at a pleasant house party at her home Monday evening in honor of Luuis H. Anderson of Ephraim. The evening even-ing was pleasantly spent in enjoying jjlly parlor games, vocal and instrt-mental instrt-mental music and dainty refres! -ments. Those present were: L. H. Anderson, Florence Monsen, Vance Mcintosh, Emil Rutishauser, Minnie Christensen, Viola Whittaker, Nathan Nath-an Faux, Etta Rolph, Leonard Seely. Tressa Larsen, Harry Ericksen and Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Merz. Mrs. Vivian Brotherson entertain ed a few friends at dinner at her home Thursday evening in honor of Mrs. Harry Mensel of Salina. Harlan Ericksen was given a surprise sur-prise party at his home Thursday evening by about twenty of his friends. Games, music and refreshments refresh-ments were enjoyed. Mr. and Mrs. Peter Swensen entertained en-tertained informally at dinner Tuesday Tues-day evening in honor of L. H. Anderson An-derson of Ephraim. Covers were lain for twelve. Marie Christensen was hostess at a birthday party Monday evening. A splendid dinner was served after which the time was passed in playing play-ing games. The guests were Ruth Monsen, Nellie Madsen, Nellie Braby, Myra Anderson, Phyllis Watson, Frances Christensen, Maurice Jensen, Jen-sen, James Jordan, Glen Barton and Gtorge Knudsen. Mrs. Elizabeth Hampshire was hostess hos-tess at an informal dinner party at her home Wednesday evening. Covers Cov-ers were laid for twelve. Willie Barton entertained a number num-ber of friends at his home Sunday afternoon in honor of his ninth birthday. birth-day. About fourteen boys and girls were present and enjoyed games of all sorts followed by a splendid luncheon. The officers and teachers of the South Ward Sunday School were pleasantly entertained at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Larsen Wednesday Wed-nesday evening of last week. A number of interesting games were played. The first an Art Catalogue game was best and the first prize won by Ida Merz, P. M. Nielson received re-ceived the booby. In the music game J. W. Anderson received first and Mrs. C. W. Sorenson booby prize. Delicious refreshments were served to thirty persons. |
