Bischoff of Lovell, Wyo.. is visiting with his sister, Mrs. E. M. Anderson. Many people attended the rabbit drive, near Wales last Saturday. Guy Russel of Matador, Texas, is a visitor in Fountain Green. Mrs. Eliza Huggins passed away on the 22nd, after a long and painful pain-ful illness caused from cancer. Funeral Fun-eral services were held Sunday afternoon af-ternoon in the meeting house. There Was a very large attendance. Speakers Speak-ers were A. Jas. Aagard and Jas. L. Nielsen. She leaves the following children to mourn her departure. Joseph Huggins of Bear River City, John Hugarins of Marvsvale. Idaho. Mrs. Will Orm and Mrs. Emma Mc-Pherson Mc-Pherson ofNephi, George Frank and Elva of this place. Other relatives that were present at the funeral were Mrs. John Huggins, John and Wm. H. Adams, Myron Whitley and Bertha Swensen. The deceased was 65 years of age and has been a faithful faith-ful church member. Nephi Robertson is in Salt Lake again this week. He is doorkeeper and assistant filing clerk at the Legislature. Le-gislature. Emma Anderson is home from Provo for a two month's vacation. For the past year she has been employed em-ployed as stenographer at the Knight Power Co. When she returns she will be employed at "Uncle Jesses" new bank which is now bemg built. Rees i)f Manas-sa, Manas-sa, Colo., are visiting with! Dr. and Mrs N. J. Rees. Dr. and Mrs. T. D. Rees came to Utah on account of the health of Mrs. Rees. The; altitude in Colorado is to high and she was advised to try a lower climtae. The two doctors are going in business together and will move to Nephi next week where they have bought Dr. Bennetts field of practice and home and will locate there. N. M. Jensen, D. A. Robertson and W. P. Allred have gone East with a shipment of lambs. Rozella Jensen is at Ephraim taking tak-ing a kindergarten course at the Snow Academy. Prof. Mose Johnson of Springville is conducting a class in elocution. They have formed a dramatic club and will present a play in the near future. Mr. and Mrs. Aubry Roberts of Price are visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. K. P. Jensen. Afton Allred is home from school at Provo on account of illness, but will return in a couple of weeks. James Johnson and Gus Robertson who are attending school at Ephraim spent the last few days at home. A. F. Bartlett has gone to Gunni-i Gunni-i son where he has prospects of work. Miss Gusta Mikkelson is quite ill. |
