Show Called Suddenly Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth McClenahan died suddenly at her home in this city last Sunday afternoon Jan. 26t'n. She had attended the afternoon services at the North Ward and shortly after returnig home told her eldest son that she was not feeling very well and wished him to get her some tea or something warm to drink. When her son came from the kitchen with what she had wished for, he found that she was dead. Heart failure seemed to have taken her away. Funeral services were held at the North Ward Chapel on Thursday afternoon. Bishop' H. C. Jacobs presiding. The chou" furnished sacred music. Pre;. C. N. Lund Bro. Wm. Olse.i, Bro. Abraham Johnson and Bishop Jasobs ware the speakers, each giving good words in tribute to the good woman and the. family who were left to mour her departure. Mrs. McClenahan was birn at Pleas ant Grove Dec. 3, 1858. She became the helpmate and companion of Jas. K. McClenhahan and seven children I were born unto them. Three children child-ren and her husband have preeeedad her to the grave. Annie, James, Ellis, El-lis, and Clyde survive her. She was I a noble woman true to herself, her j religion and family. j |
