The center will be located near 1-15 and Antelope Drive, adjacent to a new North Davis County hospital. COMMISSIONER Stanley M. He said the county will submit a proposal to the . private hospital-building firm but that the terms have not been finalized. The company, however, has agreed to sell, he said. THE CENTER will serve primarily as a live-in alcoholism al-coholism treatment facility for 15-20 men. It will also house mental health workers who are not at an office in Clearfield. Clear-field. Commissioner Smoot said the county expects to spend $200,000 for the land and ' building. MR. SHARP had been hired as the architect for two county hospitals when the county had plans several years ago to build county-run facilities in Layton and Bountiful. After the county abandoned its plans and turned construction construc-tion over to hospital-building firms, Mr. Sharp was retained as consulting architect. COMMISSIONER Smoot said the Salt Lake City architect archi-tect was among seven applicants but was selected since his firm has already done considerable research at the site. |
