Show Respect for One's Neighbors Consideration and respect for one's neighbors are invariably indicative in-dicative of a proper Christian attitude. atti-tude. Without the spirit of tolerance toler-ance and consideration which is basic ba-sic in all true neighborliness, it becomes be-comes increasingly difficult for people peo-ple to inhabit a community together without friction. It would be a good thing for those people who persist in permitting their dogs to become neighborhood nuisances, to bear this thought in mind. A number of dogs of late have been enjoying themselves almost al-most dally at the expense of sheep within the city. They delight it seems to chase, bite and even wantonly wan-tonly kill the sheep, and have been allowed to exercise this wolfish trait of their canine nature with altogether alto-gether too little restraint being demonstrated dem-onstrated by their owners. ' There is, In this city, a dog curfew cur-few law specifying that dogi; should be tied or locked up between the fall of darkness and sunrise. In view of the menace which the canine ca-nine quadrupeds make of themselves them-selves when allowed to run rampant through the streets, particularly of nights, it might be well for some dog-owners to ask themselves why that particular piece of legislation was enacted.
