Show I SPRING CITY ' 1 By Snecial Correspondence ' The Relief Society held its work and business meeting Tuesday afternoon aft-ernoon in the tithing office. Many women were in attendance. Visiting stake officers-Mris. Elizabeth Christensen, Christ-ensen, Mrs. A. F. Peel, Mina Sor-enssn. Sor-enssn. Fern Nielsen and Matilda Petersen of Mount Pleasant gave instructions and talked on Relief Society work in general. Mr. and Mrs. Cloyd Blain, Mr. Chris Sorensen and Mrs. Henry Schofield attended funeral services at Gunnison Tuesday for their couoin, Lauritz Christensen. Mrs. Almina Petersen has gone to Salt Lake, where she will spend the winter with her children. Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Allred, Mrs. uzzie a. Allred and Mrs. Milton Allred were gueots at the 60th wedding wed-ding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. George Brough, which was held at Tremonton on Friday of last weeK. Mr. and Mrs. Brough were former residents of this city. Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Al'red also visited their son Revere Allred, while away. Mrs. Alma Dounard entertained a number of friends Sunday evening eve-ning at dinner, the occasion being her birthday anniversary. Officers of the Spring City Roller Mill were reelected at the annual stockholders meeting held Tuesdav in the City Hall. |
