Show Ephraim Beer Ordinance Is Adopted By Sanpete County Civic Leaders Mayors or city councilmen of most tf the towns of Sanpete county coun-ty met at Ephraim Saturday, January Jan-uary 6, to discuss the liquor problem prob-lem in the county. Mayor Lyman , Willardson of Ephraim read tlv ordinance pertaining to the sale, distribution and licensing cf beer which was recently drawn up by City Attorney A. W. Jensen of 11-phraim. 11-phraim. The ordinance was accepted accept-ed by all the mayors in the county.' An agreement was reached as to ', the amount to be chaiged for li-j censes. The dispensers were put into in-to three classes: Fcr towns over 1000. (a) beer sold in bottles to bo ' consumed in place cf business, $2!); j b) boer sold l:y place business to be consumed over the bar or tc take out. $40; (c) beer sold on draft cr in bcttlrs, or both. $80.
