Show I '1 l ' & MABELL JENSE ... to head Mothers Club Mabell Jense to Head Mothers Club for Next Year Mabell Jense was elected president presi-dent of the Mothers Study Club at the annual election held at the home of Mrs. Arvilla Harvey last Thursday afternoon. Elected at the same time were Mrs. May Jensen, vice president and Mrs. Deanne Paulson, secretary. Mrs. Ida West, outgoing president, presi-dent, conducted the election and the business meeting. Refreshments Refresh-ments consisted of a potluck luncheon lunch-eon under the co-chairmanship of Mrs. Paulson and Mrs. Rose Radmall. Rad-mall. Club business transacted consisted consist-ed of the reading of the financial report by outgoing secretary, Mrs. Nora Macfarlane, hearing of a Civil Civ-il Rights report, and an affirmative affirma-tive vote to sponsor a local girl to Girls' State. A feature of the afternoon was a tribute and the presentation of a gift to Mrs. Lydia Hilton, who expects to move to Ogden soon. Mrs. Macfarlane gave the tribute. Those present and not mentioned previously were Mesdames Edna Newman, Manetta Gamett, Emma Overlade, Lela Banks, Fern Smith, Lucile H. Walker, Ethel Fenton, Maude Richards, Ilcne Beck, Eva Adams, Ethel Fenton, Oral Wright and Miss Estelle Fenton. |
