Show P.G. Men Snowed In at Sidney, Nebraska in Storm Ten Utahns, seven from Salt Lake City, one from Ogden and two from Pleasant Grove went through the Great Plains blizzard early this week. Millen D. Rad-mall Rad-mall and son Mark took refuge in Sidney, Nebraska after winds of 103 miles per hour and snow drifts 10 feet high stopped all automobile auto-mobile travel. The Radmalls left here early Saturday morning enroute to pick up Mark's wife and two children and return them to Granger, Utah where Mark is currently employed. employ-ed. Mr. Radmall called his wife, Rose at 2 p.m. Sunday and reported they were bogged down in Sidney with no prospect of going farther by automobile. Mark went on to Chicago by train, met his family there, returned return-ed to Sidney and the party headed west, arriving safely in Salt Lake City late Tuesday night. Upon arrival in Salt Lake City, Mr. Radmall called his wife and reported that Mark 'and family had gone on to Granger; but that due to almost complete exhaustion he was resting in Salt Lake City until un-til morning. Mr. Radmall arrived in Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove Tuesday morning and reports a very exciting experience. |
