Show MAYOR PROCLAIMS REAL ESTATE WEEK MARCH 31 TO APRIL 6 WHEREAS, the Provo Real Estate Board and its members throughout Utah County, in cooperation with other boards of Realtors across the country and the National Association of Real Estate Boards, are observing Realtor Week from March 31 to April 6; and WHEREAS, the real estate board has contributed significantly to the growth and prosperity of this city, both through its role of leadership in various ' civic enleiprises and through the devoted efforts of its individual Realtors in serving this municipality self-lessly self-lessly in civic and business matters; and WHEREAS, the Realtor is the instrumentality through which the land resources of the nation reaches its highest use and through which land ownership attains its widest distribution a distinguishing distinguish-ing mark providing the real safeguard against radical impene-trations impene-trations and WHEREAS, the Realtor realizes that such functions impose obligations beyond those of ordinary commerce and dedicates himself him-self to those grave social responsibilities and patriotic duties; an-cl WHEREAS, the carrying out of these responsibilities is reflected, re-flected, among other ways, in the Build America Better program pro-gram of Realtors through which cities throughout the nation are wiping out slum and blig'ht conditions; NOW, THEREFORE, I EDWARD C. ROBERTS, as Mayor of the City of Pleasant Grove, do hereby proclaim the week of March 31 to April 6 REALTOR WEEK, and I urge the citizens of Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove to join with me in extending wannest best wishes and offering congratulations to the Realtors of Utah County.
