Show Lindon PTA Meets To Discuss Plans With almost 100 per cent attendance attend-ance the Lindon School PTA presidency, presi-dency, chairmen, and room mothers moth-ers met this week in the auditorium auditor-ium and discussed their objectives and plans for the year. Margaret Holdaway, safety chairman, reported that she has already begun the necessary procedures proce-dures toward securing an ungent-ly ungent-ly needed bicycle rack for the school grounds. At present the many bicycle riders must prop their bicycles against the building, build-ing, a definite safety hazard. At this meeting the PTA officers proposed to support Principal Thomas Larson and the schoo board in obtaining an iron railing for the steps to the new addition and action for the completion of the fence around the playground. Other items discussed by the respective re-spective committee chairmen were the adult education class in home decoration to begin at the Lindon School October 17, at 7:30 p.m., the program for future PTA meetings, meet-ings, the Halovveen party to keep children off the streets, and the need for curtains and drapes for the new auditorium.
