Show Rawlinsons Attend Golden Wedding Of Claude Hickens Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Rawlinson and family on October 10 attended a family dinner party at Heber, honoring the Golden Wedding anniversary an-niversary of Mrs. Rawlinson's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Claude Hick-en Hick-en at Heber. The informal affair was held at the old home, now the home of Mr. and Mrs. Cyril Hicken. Following the dinner a program was enjoyed and the honored father fath-er and mother were presented with a beautiful gold clock. Children of the couple present to do them honor were Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Rawlinson, Mr. and Mrs. Cyril Hicken, Venice H. Watson, Wat-son, Bishop and Mrs. Don L. Hicken, Hick-en, Mr. and Mrs. Glade B. Homer, Mrs. L. Burgener. Mr. and Mrs. Hicken also have 20 grandchildren grandchild-ren and 7 great grandchildren. On October 14 openhouse honoring hon-oring Mr. and Mrs. Hicken was held at their home, where more than 400 from Wasatch County, Provo, Salt Lake City and other points called to offer felicitations and greet the honored couple. The couple have raised a large family, found time for church and civic duties and worthwhile hobbies. Very special guest was Mrs. Hic-ken's Hic-ken's father, J.. W. Mahoney of Heber. Mr. Hicken has served in the Heber Third Ward bishopric and was a member of the High Priests Quorum and served one term as county commissioner of Wasatch County. Mrs. Hicken has been a Relief Society teacher for more than 40 years, has served in the Primary presidency, as secretary in the Sunday S'choool and teacher in other auxiliaries. |
