Show Mode metres Are Entertained by Mrs. Lyman Smith Mrs. L3'man Smith welcomed the Modemette at her home on Friday evening, where they enjoyed enjoy-ed luncheon at prettily decked small tables, and later discussed business matters, before Mrs. Smith introduced the guest speaker, speak-er, Mrs. Monica Peterson of Lehi. Mrs. Peterson, formerly of Germany, Ger-many, and of other communistic countries in Europe, told of life behind the iron curtain, andl of Communistic atrocities, and expressed ex-pressed her appreciation of having hav-ing escaped from it. She gave a very interesting discourse. Enjoying the evening were Mrs. D. H. Fowlke, Mrs. Roy Flyer, Mrs. Glen Noble, Mrs. Dan Walker,- Mrs. Ford West, Mrs. Keith Jacobs, Mrs. Grant Maxfield, Mrs. Don Stubbs, Mrs. Don Holdaway and Mrs. Geo. McNees. |
