Show Mothers Study Club Honors Mr. and Mrs. Ray Merrill One of the very nice social events of the late Spring- was the party g-iven by the Mothers Study Club, honoring- Mr. and Mrs. Ray S. Merrill, who are leaving- to make their home in Ogden. The well arranged party at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis E. Olpin featured a sumptuous smorgasbord. smorgas-bord. The large table was centered with a lovely crystal basket of purple and white lilacs, while lavender lav-ender and yellow, enhanced the small tables. Ford M. Paulson led the group singing and clever original songs, were given to each table where they were sung. Later table games were played and the honor guests were called on to talk. The whole affair was pleasant and informal and showed the warm friendships which Mr. and Mrs. Merrill has won, during- their years in this community. Club members and their husbands, hus-bands, who honored Mr. and Mrs. Merrill were Messrs and Mes-dames, Mes-dames, Earl A. Beck, Burton H. Adams, Karl Banks, Thcs. Fen-ton, Fen-ton, C. A. Gamett, Leo P. Harvey, S. W. Hilton. Wesley Jense, Irwin Jensen, S. Alma Kirk, John V. Macfarlane, Lewis E. Olpin, Wm. C. Smith, A. P. Wamick, Harold S. Walker. Harry S. Richards. Millen D. Radmail, Ford M. Paulson, Paul-son, Junius A. West, and Mrs. A. R. Overlade, Mrs. Oral Wright, Mrs. Lacy White, Mrs. H. W. Jacobs, and Miss Estelle Fenton. Cimmittee arranging the affair were Mrs. Lewis E. Olpin, Mrs. Wesley Jense and Mrs. Oral Wright. |
