Show Chrysanthemum Show Slated for Lehi October 12 On Saturday, Oct. 12, the first chrysanthemum show to be held in the north end of Utah County will be staged at the Lehi Memorial Memor-ial Hall. All chrysanthemum growers of the north end of the county are invited to exhibit at this show. Included in the show will be sections sec-tions for exhibition type mums, Incurves, In-curves, large bloom types, small bloom types, large and small pompoms, pom-poms, spoon and spider varieties, button mums and all garden and hardy varieties. There will be a section for junior exhibits from 8 to 5 years of age, and one from 12 to 8 years og age. There will also be a seotiion for 'arrangements for the Juniors as well 'as for the adult section. Mrs. Ada Perman of Liehi is the chairman of the show and will be assisted by co-chairmen Vie Oster-gaard, Oster-gaard, Lindon; Sadie Chandler, Pleasant Grove; and Wanda Scholes, American Pork. For information regarding entries en-tries or any cither information, call one of the committee chairmen. Exhibits will be accepted from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday evening, Oct. 11 and from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday morning. Judging will be from 10 to 12 noon on Saturday, after which the doors will be open to the public until 8 p.m. Saturday evening. |
