Show Primary of Grove Ward Busy Starting Season Grove Ward Primary have been very busy setting their organization organiza-tion In order. On Monday evening, Sept. 30, they held their officers and teacher's preparation meeting at the ward house in the Relief Society Hall. President Luella Christiansen was in charge. Counselor Ida Pierson gave ithe In-service training lesson, in which teachers participated at the session ses-sion that followed. Primary stake president Ruth Swenson was also present. On Wednesday at the chapel was the Blazer welcome where the trekkers and guide patrol boys welcomed the younger boys into the group. After ithe welcoming ceremony the boys were outdoors where they played games and enjoyed en-joyed hamgurgers and soda water. More than 40 boys participated of whom 13 were new Blazeirs. Leaders of the 'groups are Blazers, Blaz-ers, Barbara Baxter; Trekkers, Valjean Curtis and Lillian Cutler; and Guide Patrol, Virginia Loader. Load-er. Present also were Vella Listen Lis-ten and ward primary historian Pearl Powell. The Lark Welcome of the Grove Ward Primary had been held previously. pre-viously. Here Blue Birds and Seagulls Sea-gulls conducted the ceremony of welcoming Larks in the home builder group. Fun games and refreshments re-freshments followed. The leadens are Seagulls Dorothy Dor-othy Walker; Blue Birds, CLeone Bullock and Larks, Leona Loader and Evelyn Sohoonower. |
