Lindon Mia Maids Hear Book Review Mrs. Lucille H. Walker and Mrs. Lavina Fugal were guest speakers at the Lindon Ward's MiaMaid and Mothers party on Monday evening. ev-ening. Mrs. Walker reviewed "It's Good to Be Black," by Ruby Bark-ley Bark-ley Goodwin of California., negro authoress, who tells the story of her life iand of her people. Mrs. Fugal told of meeting Mrs. Goodwin in New York, where they met as mother of the year from their- respective states. Mrs. Fugal, American Mother of the Year, 1955, told of the outstanding out-standing personality and charm of Mrs. Goodwin and added much to the enjoyment of the story. Mrs. Shirley Jacklin is Mia Maid leader of Lindon Ward. Ward officers of-ficers in the YWMIA officers were special guests.
