Emphasis is placed on driving under varying conditions of traffic traf-fic on urban streets and open high- confidence in accordance with laws ordinances and aound driving practices prac-tices to overcome hazardous situations situ-ations that develop while driving. This new service is the first of tis type in Utah to make professional driver training available. Sam Arge, president of the Utah Motor Club announced recently the foiTnation of a new Driver Education Edu-cation and Training Service thru his organization. Mr. Arge stated that studies of thousands of accidents ac-cidents have indicated that very few are due to mechanical failure but largely to driver or human failure, As a result of the many requests re-quests from the public for Driver Training this service was instituted by the Utah Motor Club to give the people an opportunity to learn to drive properly. This service is being operated by men that are certified driver training instructors instruc-tors equipped with the latest dual-control, dual-control, automatic and standard transmission type automobiles. The driver education course consists con-sists of behindthe-wheel driving and begins under relatively simple conditions progressing until the student has acquired reasonable skill in operating the motor vehicle. ve-hicle.
