Young, ADA 'of Utah p'-esident. Dairymen Issued Invitation to Attend Annua! Convention Slated for Saturday, Nov. 30 Dairymen of the Pleasant Grove area .this week were issued a special invitation to participate in the annual convention of the American Dairy Association of Utah in Salt Lake City on Saturday, Satur-day, November 30. Meetings will be ait Hotel Utah . The invitation was issiied by Welby W. Young of Heber City, ADA of Utah president. ADA chairman for Utah county is T. A. ! HaUaday, 52 So. 3110 West, Provo assisted by John Barnard, county agent. Mr. Young added that official hostess for the convention will be lovely Marilyn Anderson of Lehi, i Utah's Dairy Princess. She will be I assisted by her two attendants, Csrol Ralphs of Ferron, Emery County and Sherry Bunting of Kanab, Kane county. A. J. Mollis ,ADA of Utah managing man-aging director, said that arrangements arrange-ments are being made to bring to Uta.h national personalities as convention con-vention speakers. He added that there will be special activities for dairymen's wives on the convention conven-tion day. These activities will be directed by Genevieve Allen, executive execu-tive director of the Dairy Council of Utah. Mr. Morris said that there would be an afternoon general session for all dairymen, followed by an evening even-ing banquet with a guest speaker. "In addition there will be a number num-ber of exhibits and displays showing show-ing dairymen of cooperative efforts ef-forts in advertising, public relations, relat-ions, research and merchandising through the American Dairy Association As-sociation ,both on the national and local levels," he said. "There will also be reports of activities during the past year and outline plans for 1058," Mr. Morris Mor-ris said. |
