Show Pleasant Grove Native Dies in Fall In Salt Lake City Thursday Mrs. Bessie (Vean West) Zuker, 69, native cf Pleasant Grove died Thursday from a basel scull fracture fract-ure and cerebral concussion, suffered suf-fered in a fall down the basement steps in a home where she was employed, and was pronounced dead upon arrival at a Salt Lake hospital. Mrs. Zuker was bom in Pleasant Grove Nov. 15, 1887, to David and Mathilda Drigg-s West. She attended school in Pleasant Grove and made her home here until her marriage to Mr. Zuker In 1909. Her husband died in 1950. Mrs. Zuker is survived by six sons and daughters: Lyman F., David G. and Kay A. Zuker of Salt Lake City, Mrs. Wilhelmina Reed and Mrs. Myrth Payne of Fredonia, Kansas and Mrs.' Jean McComas. Kenorha, Wis. Also brothers and sisters Elvin West and Berniece Lindquist of Salt Lake City; Noel West of Santa-quin; Santa-quin; Elberta Williams, Provo; Myrth of California; Glide Kirk-ham, Kirk-ham, Lehi; Thora Clawson,. Poca-tella; Poca-tella; Dezzie Wootten and Sherwood Sher-wood West of Pleasant Grove. Funeral services for Mrs. Zuker were conducted in Salt Lake City Monday. |
