Show Humphries Fforal to Hold Open House on November 1 and 2 After 30 years in the present location and a total of 50 years in the Floral business, Humphries Floral, 54 East Main, American Fork, is celebrating with an anniversary anni-versary party and openhouse. The festivities are scheduled for all day on November 1 and 2. The long established business house has undergone a complete renovation and remodeling, including inclu-ding a modern air conditioning system. "This air conditioning is something new in Utah County, said Co-Manager Owen Humphries. "It greatly improves the quality of our cut flowers." During both days of the celebration celebra-tion free gifts will be available to all and special flowers will be presented pre-sented free to the ladies, Mr. Humphries Hum-phries stated. Just for an inovation, per dozen doz-en prices for flowers will be rolled back to the 1927 level. Carnations, $1.50; Roses, -3.45; and Chrysanthemums, Chrysan-themums, $2.95 while the supply lasts. The Humphries Floral was established es-tablished 50 years ago, when Frank Humphries, pioneer resident of Pleasant Grove built and operated a "greenhouse" on First East ac-cross ac-cross from the LDS Second Ward Church. In 1927 the establishment was moved to the present location in American Fork, and operated by the ,eld'n- Mr. Humphries and sons Frank and Owen. Humphries Floral is now owned by Frank Jr. and Owen Humphries nnd operated by Owen and Robert, a son of Frank Jr. Owen and Robert cordially invite in-vite all their friends and customers custom-ers to call on November 1 or 2 to inspect the new establishment |
