Show Lindon Progressives Seek Office In Tuesday Election in Lindon Progressive Party of Lindon has incumbent Mayor Harold Keetch running for his second term. With Mayor Keetch on the ticket in the Lindon City elections to be held next Tuesday are Willis Larson and Oscar Lee Swenson as city council candidates. Mayo- Harold W. Keetch was born and raised 'in Lindon. He has served two years s city councilman, council-man, mayor for four years, and is former president of the Fair Board. He is an active member in the LDS Chin-ch, having been a scoutmaster scout-master and also a former member of the Lindon Ward Bishopric. He married the former Rena Nielson, and the couple are the parents icf three children. He is employed as a Maintenance Accountant" Ac-countant" at the Geneva Steel Co. Willis Larson Willis Larson, Progressive Party Par-ty candidate for city councilman ocf Lindon, was born in Spanish Fork and until 11 years ago resided re-sided in CasMe Gate, Utah. He has lived in Lindon since 1916. He helped organize the Little League Baseball team and is a charter member of the Lindon Lions Club. He is an active member of the LDS Church, being a former president pres-ident of Lindon Ward YMMIA and former counselor in Lindon 2nd Ward Bishopric. He married Juanita Chapman and the couple have five children. He is employed at the Consolidated Consolidat-ed Western Steel in the purchasing purchas-ing department. Oscar Lee Swenson Oscar Lee Swenson, Progressive Party candidate for city councilman, council-man, is a native of Lindon where he has resided all of his life. He has served one and a half years on the city council and six years as recreational director. He is a former president of the Lions Club. An active member of the LDS Churoh, he has served as Ward Clerk. He is a barber in Pleasant Grove and he and his wife, the former Thelma Boren, are the parents of three girls. |
