Friday the students at PGHS voted on whether or not the new School Constitution would be adopted. The constitution was accepted by a 7 to 1 majority. Because there had been several differences of opinion on how cheerleaders should be selected, Section 4 of the constitution was voted on separately. The voting was very close but the results show that the majority of the students want the cheerleaders to try out in groups and be chosen cho-sen by the popular vote of the studentbody. This is the way cheerleaders have been chosen in previous years. V-V The new constitution states that besides our four Studentbody officers, we will also have a business busi-ness manager and a historian. Petitions are being circulated for candidates for these offices. We will also elect a new secretary. Linda Boren, who was elected last spring, has moved.
