Viqueens Sport New Look for Football Season; Halftime Marching Exhibition Worth Attending Cash customers lucky enough to be on hand at the Pleasant Grove-American Fork football classic last Friday night, were quick to note that something different dif-ferent had been added. The Viqueens Vi-queens have a new look; and it's all to the good. In times gone by, the gals of the local high school pep club have paraded between football game halves in catch-as-catch-can regalia regal-ia of sundry and diverse sizes, colors col-ors and types; but not this year. In fact the Viqueens almost stole the show when they stepped out in their new "football special" get-ups. get-ups. As shwn by 'the picture taken above, the outfits consist of white T-shirts with monogram, jaunty caps, white half-sox, and royal blue pedal pushers and shoes. In addition, the girls have increased in-creased their club membership somewhat, which might be a good thing too. At least it gives more girls a chance to belong and "belonging" "be-longing" is about the most important im-portant thing in a teen-girl's life. If the team should be fortunate enough to play in the Class B football foot-ball finale again this November, the new look Viqueens will add considerably to the life and color of the event. Officers of this year's organization organiza-tion are Carol Ann Bullock, president; presi-dent; Karen Belliston, first vice president; Carolyn Swenson, second sec-ond vice president, and Peggy Kirk secretary. Faculty advisers are Miss Vera Conder and Mrs. Maude Jacobs. |
