Roberts reported re-ported that a new city ordinance was now being prepared which will limit the period of time that railroad rail-road trains may legally block highways high-ways and streets within the city limits. The need for such an ordinance or-dinance became apparent recently recent-ly when fire-fighting equipment was dangerously delayed in the run to the William Freeman fire. The gravel will be made available to the city for the actual cost of crushing. Electric power lines to the new city culinary water well have been completed, the mayor said. Pumping Pump-ing will begin soon, and continue until the water channels are entirely en-tirely free of silt and sand. According Ac-cording to city officials, culinary water will be in ample supply this summer and residents are encouraged encour-aged to use all they need.
