Baseball Association Elects Directors; Glen Noble Named as President for Coming League Season Two imporant Pleasant Grove Baseball Association meetings have been held since the last issue of the Review. Last Friday night a group of baseball enthusiasts met in the city hall and elected five new members to the board of directors. Those chosen were "Red" Richins, Blaine Warnick, Virgil Turner, Glen Noble and Vern Gillman. These men together with hold over directors Leon Smith, Lynn Atwood, Ray Mills, Bill Lewis and Max Ferre, will direct the baseball base-ball destiny of the Berries for the current Industrial League Season. Last Monday night, members of the Board of Directors met and selected officers to head up the organization as follows: Glen Noble, President; Bill Lewis, Vice President, and Blaine Wamick .Secretary-Treasurer. According to Ray Mills, retiring secretary, the Pleasant Grove Club has tentatively engaged Wayne Tucker as manager for the 1956 season. Mr. Tucker, an experienced infielder, has managed professional profes-sional baseball clubs in the South west and Pioneer Leagues. He should prove an asset to the local club. |
